The quality of our products and services, the technological know-how, safe working conditions, consideration for the environment as well as a solid financial base are the pillars of the company policy of WILLEMEN. These pillars are supported by a large group of motivated employees whose development and evolution are considered to be of prime importance.
Building the future not only requires courage and perseverance, but also needs a critical mind to question all the existing issues, to think them through and rebuild them again based on the changing needs and demands on the market and in our society, and all this as a top level team. That is our vision of the future!
At WILLEMEN, we continuously strive to improve the safety standards and health care standards for our employees and labourors. Since the safety of our employees is crucial, WILLEMEN obtained already in 1998 the VCA**-certificate (Safety-health-environment Checklist for Contractors). Our labourers are made aware of the dangers on a building site by means of the extensive Welcome Brochure and through the monthly toolbox meetings, which contain extensive instructions on the safety norms and policies at WILLEMEN. Our project managers play a crucial role in all this as direct supervisors. All of this will help us reach an even bigger improvement in work accident results.

For a building contractor of our size, the ISO-quality label has become an absolute must. This European quality system guarantees an efficient and transparent follow-up of projects resulting in high-performance project management. We adhere to the principle of gearing our certificate at all times to the desires of our customers and employees in order to guarantee an optimum service level and quality of our building projects.

At WILLEMEN construction and environment go hand in hand. We inform our employees thoroughly about the aspects of an environmentally conscious waste disposal policy. Their commitment in this area is monitored closely and guided by the environmental co-ordinator. His efforts in this case have already led to the development of a solid environmental protection system, for which a certificate was obtained in the framework of the Presti-IV-project. But we shall continue, since this is only a build-up for us to obtain the ISO-14001-certificate.

To make this possible, we provide permanent training facilities, tuned to the needs of our employees and the new market demands. Team spirit is another value that we like to invest in. WILLEMEN realises quite a few projects in a "building team". We actively participate in the preparatory study group and make our experience of many years and our skilful people available for the members of the building team, throughout all phases of the project.
