A POLICY AIMED AT SATISFIED EMPLOYEES
The big assets of our company are our motivated employees, who put all this into practice every day and steer our building projects into the right direction. Their satisfaction is our most important quality label.
Permanent training
The commitment to continuous training of our employees is one of our major strengths. The training requests are discussed during the annual assessment and performance reviews or after deliberation with the direct supervisor. We herewith take into account demands related to the person's position, market demands, and personal interests. As such, we have amongst others a number of employees who are attending the Master in Building Management's training.
Our labourers can also enrol in training depending on the requirements of their job or of the building site, and as such, a number of labourers have had computer training in order to be able to follow up the management of the warehouse more accurately in the future.
Team spirit
Our slogan is : satisfied employees make the best hands on deck! We realise that every employee spends on average 8 to 10 hours of his/her day in the working environment. Hence team spirit is a value that we like to invest in. This is illustrated by the numerous sideline group activities. Every month two volunteers treat the others to a lunch in the cafeteria and events are organised in the evening or during the weekend (indoor-karting, volleyball, orienteering by night, barbecue, brewery visit, ...).
Upon every job completion, we throw a party together with the group of labourers and the project leaders in order to celebrate the successful result. Every other year, a big personnel party is organised to which everybody is invited with their family. Needless to say that all these activities have a lot of enthusiastic participants!
Motivation
Motivation is a broad and overall concept. Team spirit, permanent training, flexibility, position and job descriptions, assessment and performance reviews are a few of the topics that are being developed at WILLEMEN. The satisfaction poll showed that the team spirit is one of the strongest assets.
Our project and building site supervisors can lead their project in a very independent way, whilst being coached by the technical management.
We also provide a group and hospitalisation insurance for our employees.
In short, we aim at creating a pleasant and positive working environment for all our employees in different ways.
