Willemen Infra vernieuwt in opdracht van het Agentschap Wegen en Verkeer (AWV) de Steenweg (N3) in Heers. Aquafin voorziet gescheiden riolering die een aanzienlijke verbetering moet betekenen voor het heersende afwateringsprobleem. Ook nieuwe vrijliggende enkelrichtingsfietspaden, beveiligde fietsoversteekplaatsen en een vernieuwde rijweg maken deel uit van het project.
