RCC Annuntiaten - Heverlee

Description

Thanks to its flexible layout, this residential care centre with 96 rest-home rooms and 27 assisted-living homes can switch between small-scale and large-scale operations to suit your needs. In the first phase, three new wings with a total of 72 rooms were built, allow the residents to move first, so that the obsolete buildings could then be demolished. In the second phase, an additional 27 residences, 24 residential units, a cafeteria, and numerous administrative areas were added. Large insulation thicknesses, triple glazing, and advanced energy-saving techniques such as concrete core activation, a BEO field, and thermal and photovoltaic solar panels were utilised.

Willemen Construct came into being on 1 July 2018 as a result of the merger between Willemen General Contractor and the construction department of Kumpen.
