BASF - Antwerp

Description

Based on a 600-hectare site where 54 production plants form a variety of integrated production lines, BASF Antwerp is the largest integrated chemical production centre in Belgium and the second largest within the global BASF group. Aannemingen Van Wellen NV has been working at the BASF site since 1988. Work is carried out based on an annual contract for earthworks and road works, supplemented by contracts for separate project contracts if required. On a 600-hectare site, there is always work to be done!

Willemen Infra - the largest Belgian road construction company - came into being on 1 July 2018 as a result of the merger between Aswebo, Aannemingen Van Wellen and the infrastructure department of Kumpen.
