Container terminal - Tangier

‹ Prev Next ›
Description

On a 60-hectare site in the port of Tangier, we were responsible from A to Z for the realisation of a container terminal with a quay length of 1.2 km and all associated buildings. The terminal features the latest cargo handling technology to meet the needs of large ships. Twelve remote-controlled STS double trolley cranes - the largest in the world - are responsible for loading and unloading ships with at least 22,000 containers on board. APM Terminals MedPort Tangier has a capacity of 3.3 million teu per year and is one of the most technically advanced terminals in the world.

Willemen Infra is a leading, Belgian road construction company with a regional presence in both Flanders and Wallonia. In addition, thanks to our own COPRO-certified production and recycling sites, we are one of the leading producers for asphalt and road concrete.
