Laboratory building BASF - Antwerp

Description

Franki Construct is building a new laboratory building in the port of Antwerp on the site of BASF, which is the largest chemical production centre in Belgium.

The building measures 61 m by 35 m and is 16 m high. The ground floor and first floor are built in concrete: columns, beams and cladding including concrete façade panels on the ground floor.

The "technical floor" is a steel construction. The first and second floor will be surrounded by metal cladding. The laboratory is equipped with a green roof.

Since 1998 Franki Construct has been part of Willemen Groep, the largest family construction group in Belgium.
