Tank Storage Facilities Sea-Tank - Antwerp

Description

Sea-Invest and French chemical giant Total invested heavily in the expansion of Sea-Tank's tank storage facility in the port of Antwerp. A huge park with 800,000 m³ of storage tanks for various oil products, was enlarged to over 1 million m³. Sea-Invest purchased a 17-hectare site for this purpose.

We were responsible for the construction of the foundations of eight new storage tanks with a total storage capacity of 160,000 m³ and the associated basins. The tanks were equipped with laying rock and a pipeline to the Total refinery thirty metres below the Hansa dock. We also took care of the supply and placement of the sand asphalt.

Willemen Infra is a leading, Belgian road construction company with a regional presence in both Flanders and Wallonia. In addition, thanks to our own COPRO-certified production and recycling sites, we are one of the leading producers for asphalt and road concrete.

Since 1998 Franki Construct has been part of Willemen Groep, the largest family construction group in Belgium.
