E411 Namur-Brussels - Eghezée-Thorembais-Saint-Trond

Description

The work consisted of repairing the reinforced concrete road surface. This was done in two phases.

Phase one involved work in the hard shoulder, right hand lane and part of the middle lane. The hard shoulder was completely broken up. The road surface in continuous reinforced concrete and the foundations of the right and centre lanes were broken up.
The road surface was relaid in continuous reinforced concrete on top of the new foundation of lean concrete, with an asphalt intermediate layer between the foundation and the road surface.

During phase 2, repair work was undertaken on the continuous reinforced concrete and a bitumen top surface was applied to lanes 2 and 3.
