Tram depot Marconi - Brussels

Description

The Marconi tram depot has 22 tracks and offers space for 75 trams in the storage area and a further ten in the maintenance hall. A new building houses the administrative services. During construction, particular attention was paid to the harmonious integration of the building into its green surroundings and the ecological aspect. For example, the depot has a basin that collects rainwater for the sanitary facilities and tram washing, as well as a heat pump, 600 solar panels, smart LED lighting, etc. Marconi has BREEAM-rating "Very Good".
